He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Halbert and Lillian Coffey; his wife Frances Halbert; his son Larry Dean Jr. Halbert; and his siblings, Darrell R. Halbert and Linda Hutchinson.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Halbert of Wichita and Stacy Pedigo (William) of Geneseo; and his siblings, Frederick Halbert of Hutchinson, Alan Halbert (Christine) of Lyons and Ruby Navarro (Tony) of Emporia. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
