In the sacred silence of farewell, Larry is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Larry's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dell J. Bornholdt and Naomi D. Bornholdt (Wilke); and his brother Jerry Bornholdt. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Bornholdt of Hutchinson, KS; his daughter Gretchen Davis (Brad) of Hutchinson, KS; his grandchildren, Brooke Hill (Skylar) of Hutchinson, KS and Zachary Davis (Katelyn) of Edmond, OK; and his great grandchild Emily Davis.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Birzer Funeral Home (214 West Ave S, Lyons, KS 67554). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Lyons Fire Department in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
