He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert A. Bennett and Cora B. Bennett (Jones); his wife Anita Bennett; and his grandson Benjamin Eckrote. He is survived by: his daughter Evonne Eckrote (Richard); his granddaughter Elizabeth Eckrote of Wichita; his sister Della Nickle of Walnut Grove, MO; and his pet Bobby "Bad Bob". He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
