He is survived by: his wife Brenda Emmerich; his daughters, Ashley Emmerich of Wichita, KS and Courtney Emmerich of Hutchinson, KS; his siblings, Kip Emmerich (Martha) of Topeka, KS, Kris Emmerich of Hutchinson, KS, Keith Emmerich (Shelly) of Hutchinson, KS, Kim Dobson of Houston, TX and Kandy York (Murry) of Mt. Vernon, TX; and his mother-in-law Shirley Cheatum of Hutchinson, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the Reno County Cancer Council or Traditions Home Health and Hospice and can be sent in care of Hutchinson Funeral Chapel.
