We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2023, at the age of 56, Kent Smith of Hutchinson, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Jana Smith; and his siblings, Keith Smith and Monique Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Ford (Harris); his mother Yvonne Johnson of Hutchinson; his siblings, Michael Johnson of Colorado Springs, CO and Kanetia Jackson (Damont) of Dallas, TX; and his children, Kendra Ray (Ben) of Hutchinson, De'Shaun Smith (Ashley) of Rose Hill, Sh'nelle Grissom of Hutchinson, Kentra Cash'ae "Cash" Wade of El Dorado and Ya'Neigh Smith of Hutchinson. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; and many extended family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kent Smith Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
