He was predeceased by: his parents, Audra Shank and Robert Shank; his daughter Valerie Kay Shank; and his brothers, Robert, Lester and Richard Shank.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Shank; his sisters, Gloria Garcia, Lucille Kidder and Dorothy Knauss; and his nieces and nephews, Duane Beichley (Kathleen), Chuck Snapp, John Snapp, Linda Cowel and Sheryl Shaw (Mike).
