He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Kasparek and Leona E. Kasparek (Friesen); his daughter Deborah Housh; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Kasparek (Kathy) of Hutchinson and Rod of Hutchinson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
