She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Robert and Hazel Nadine Jantz (French); her husband Jerry Faye Carmichael; her son Marvin Borntrager; and her siblings, Harold Jantz, Barbara Rowles and Mildred Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Bush of Wichita and Jo Ann Stofer of Hutchinson; her stepchildren, Elaine Gaskel (Nick) of Joplin, MO, Christina Frost (Doug) of Joplin, MO, Jerry Carmichael (Diana) of South Hutchinson and John Carmichael (Carla) of Hutchinson; and her siblings, Marvin Jantz (Agnes) of Colorado and Myrna Moore of Iola. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Kindred Hospice or Diversicare of Hutchinson, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
