He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cruz Burciaga and Exiquia Arrieta Rodriguez; his wife Cheri (Lewis); and his siblings, Juana Burciaga-Rodriguez, Rafael Burciaga-Rodriguez, Celestino Burciaga-Rodriguez, Alejandra Burciaga-Rodriguez, Aureliza Burciaga-Rodriguez, Clara Maria Burciaga-Rodriguez and Rosa Burciaga-Rodriguez.
