He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude W. Rust and Naomi J. Rust (Peterson); his sister Sue Rust; and his half-brother Johnny Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Susan Rust of Hutchinson; and his son Caleb (Tara) of Amarillo, TX. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
