He was predeceased by: his parents, Cazemiro Estrella and Sarafine Estrella (Aguiar); his wife Katherine 'Katie Leiker; his children, Barbara Ann Estrella, Rose Marie Howard and John Estrella, Jr.; and his grandson Elliott Dean Hedrich.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Hedrich (Glen) of Wichita, KS; and his grandchildren, Joshua Estrella (Brandy) of Hutchinson, KS, Janelle Ortiz of Topeka, KS, Tiffany Seibel (Matt) of Winter Garden, FL, Todd Howard (Sarah) of Overland Park, KS, Kristin Hedrich of Oxford, NE and Andrew Hedrich (Kalene) of Virginia Beach, VA. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Teresa Catholic Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
