Schroeppel of Hutchinson, Kansas, born in New Ulm, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Earl and Alice Schroeppel Sr. (Swenson); and his brother Roger Schroeppel. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Casper (Tonya) of Eureka, Dr. John Paul Schroeppel (Mandy) of Leawood, Peter Schroeppel of Hutchinson and Dr. Sarah Schroeppel DeBacker (Christopher) of Boston, MA; his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Austin, Annaliese Casper, Addison, Payton, John Pierce Schroeppel, Nathaniel John and Theodore DeBacker; his siblings, Douglas Schroeppel (Nancy) of Buffalo, MN, Kay Ferris (Brad) of Backus, MN and Sue Coulter of Crosslake, MN; and his sister-in-law Karen Schroeppel of Plano, TX. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
