John left this world on August 17, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren W. Davenport and Nina M. Davenport (Price); his wife Elaine; his grandson John Grayson Davenport; and his brothers-in-law, Randy Elliott and Joseph Kuettel.
He is survived by: his children, Karmen Davenport of Manhattan and Jason Davenport (Angie) of Hutchinson; his grandchildren, Abbie Davenport and Griffin Davenport; his sisters, Virginia Elliott of Hutchinson and Nina Kuettel of Wichita; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Runyan (Sharon Watson) of Caldwell and Royce Runyan (LeAnn) of Cape Fair, MO.
