With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Tolar of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on March 25, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon E. Fast and Leona M. Fast (Newlin); her sisters, Joyce (Ted Hesse) and Jean (Bob May); and her brother-in-law Byron Tolar (Julia).

She is survived by: her sons, Dwight (Mary Tolar) and Donald Tolar of Hutchinson; and her grandsons, Alex Tolar of Manhattan, Drew Tolar and Reece Tolar of Cheney.

Memorials may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church or Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
