It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan R. Emmerich (Hutchinson, Kansas), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Appleby and Evelyn Appleby (Wolk); her husband Joseph E. Emmerich; her son-in-law Ron Dobson; and her great grandchild Mason McIntire.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Dobson, Kip Emmerich (Martha Courville), Kandy York (Murry), Kevin Emmerich (Brenda), Kris Emmerich and Keith Emmerich (Shelly). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter or Traditions Home Health and Hospice and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
