He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter M. Hensel and Goldie Hensel (Bunch); and his brother Don. He is survived by: his close friend Jim Reidl; his son-in-law Brent Adams; his granddaughters, Brinley, Madison Adams and Elaina Adams; his wife Rita Clara Young; his daughters, Stacey Hensel of Brooklyn, NY and Stephanie Adams (Brent) of Spring Hill, TN; and his grandson Milo Hensel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (407 E 12th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
