He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Brawner and Mildred Brawner (Whitaker); his wife Janice K. "Jan" Drake; and his siblings, Delmar, Bill, Larry, Jim Brawner, Norma Ardolino and Clarissa Hoss.
He is survived by: his daughter Allie Holycross (Jeff) of Oundle; his brother Ronnie Brawner of Gardner; and his siblings-in-law, Tess Egbert (Brian), Donna Drake of Hutchinson, Dan Drake (Claudia) of Colorado Springs and Terry Drake (Carol) of Ingleside. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice House where his wife Jan received care or Straub Foundation through Straub Benioff Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawai'i, where he received great care after his heart attack in 2017, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS 65701.
