We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2024, at the age of 88, Jean M McKnight of Hutchinson, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gus Boese and Florence Boese (Graber); her husband Dick; her sister Irene McBurney; and her siblings-in-law, Tom McKnight and Rogene McKnight.
She is survived by: her children, LeAnn Cox of Hutchinson, KS and Laurie McKee (Michael) of Gilbert, AZ; her siblings, Neva Maerz of Lakin, KS, Janet Henry (Raymond) of Syracuse, KS, Betty Boese of Kingman, KS, Irma Voran (Max) of North Newton, KS and Ken Boese (Connie) of Grand Junction, CO; and her grandchildren, Morgan Beck, Madison Johnson and Brady Cox. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Elliott Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice and Homecare of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
