She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Swanson and Eva Swanson (Baldauf); her sons, Doyle and Dale Symonds; and her sisters, Ruth Ann Swanson and Virginia Stubby.
She is survived by: her daughter Dorthea Wooten (Eddie); her grandchildren, Kyleigh Wedel, Sean Wedel (Ashley), Jordan Wedel (Ashley), Shannon Symonds, Jimmie Symonds, Tyler Symonds, Steve Stock (Jenny) and Nathan (Melody); and her brother Gerald Swanson. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5905 W 4th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Cancer Council of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
