He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Walter and Helen Louise Lowen (England); his wife Jan Lowen; and his siblings, Richard Lowen and Betty Jean Lowen.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Lowen of Hutchinson; his sons, Jake Lowen (Vanessa Sanburn) of Lawrence, Allen Roepka (Kelly) of Hutchinson and Blake Roepka (Sara) of Hutchinson; and his grandchildren, Nadia Sanburn, Amelia Lowen, Bentley Roepka, Sullivan Roepka and Jacob Connor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Kansas Honor Flight or Folds of Honor Foundation, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
