He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis 'Andy Edward Clifford and Mildred 'Mid Irene Clifford (Arnold); his siblings, Dick Clifford and Shirley Henry; and his mother-in-law Elnora McComas.

He is survived by: his wife Janis Clifford of Hutchinson, KS; his children, Darin Clifford (Sheryl) of Hutchinson, KS, Bob Clifford (Sue Keazer) of South Hutchinson, KS and Lori Clifford (Troy Jacobson) of Hutchinson, KS; his grandchildren, Jimmy Clifford, Andy Clifford, Kylee Hawk (J. D. Dyke), Jason Clifford (Ashley) and Taylor Clifford (Alex); his great grandchildren, Braden, Keaton, Easton, Tinley, Paisley, Jayley, Cash and Viv; his sister Kathi Wells (Alan) of Hutchinson, KS; his brother-in-law Harold Henry of Hutchinson, KS; and his pet Murphy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
