She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Young and Berniece Young (McClaury); and her sister Elizabeth Young. She is survived by: her spouse Leslie Eugene "Gene" Van Amburg; her daughters, Karen Heller of Hutchinson and Carol Sommers (Allon) of Manhattan; and her grandchildren, Steven Heller of Hutchinson, Robyn Bonner (Bo) of Des Moines, IA, Lainen Bayer (Jake) of Manhattan and Joseth Sommers of Manhattan. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
