It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Harley Wagler (Hutchinson, Kansas), who passed away on September 30, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wagler and Fannie Wagler (Mast); his stepmother Elizabeth Wagler; his sister-in-law Rose Ella Wagler; and his nephew Stanley Wagler.

He is survived by: his siblings, Paul Wagler (Ellen), Ruth Miller (Roman), Philip Wagler, Eldon Wagler (Jane), Lusaka, Zambia and Springs of Colorado; and his godchildren, Nastia Oleneva and Aleksei James Black. He is also survived by 13 nephews and nieces.

Memorials may be made to Mennonite Friendship Communities, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.

I was blessed to meet and work with Harley during his two years of voluntary service in Costa Rica. Harley was admired for his intelligence, his kindness, his thoughtful demeanor and his sincere faith in God. I had the fortune of having a conversation by phone with him soon after he returned from Russia this year.”
