With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Golda Marie Pope of Hutchinson, Kansas, born in Agenda, Kansas, who passed away on December 2, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vernon Walker and Orpha Evelyn Walker (Kramer); her husband Russell Hindle Pope; and her brother James Walker. She is survived by: her children, Mary Denny (John) of Hutchinson, KS, Rachel Wakefield (Paul) of Hutchinson, KS, Matthew Pope (Elaine) of Hutchinson, KS, Ellen Stebbings (David) of Attleboro, MA, James Pope (Wendy) of Hutchinson, KS and Steve Pope (Amy) of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 44 great-grandchildren; and many extended family.
