It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine E Bircher (Hutchinson, Kansas), born in Walton, Kansas, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Diane Shirack (Mike) of Centennial, CO, Joan Gibson (Roger) of Wichita, Gene Bircher (Jennifer) of Longmont, CO, Paula Payton (Greg) of Hutchinson and Craig Bircher (Mary) of Richmond, VA; her brother Alden Stratton of Hesston; and her grandchildren, Chad Shirack (Lora), Amanda Herndon (Dustin), Curtis Gibson (Kara), Kinzie Flowers (James), Bailey Lardes (Doug), Will Bircher (Morgan), Morgan Starkweather (James), Grady Payton (Brooke), Samantha Rose, Crosby Branham (Cody), Dr. Walter G. Bircher and Dr. Josie Bircher. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are may be made to the Wesley Towers Scholarship Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
