He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Friesen and Amy E. Friesen (Martin); and his sister Joetta Mielke. He is survived by: his children, Sheri Friesen Barr of Hutchinson, Susan Friesen Sloyer (Scott) of Lawrence and George R. Friesen (Misty) of Wellington; and his sister Connie Neuburger (Arthur) of Lawrence. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
