She was predeceased by: her parents, George Robert and Edna Doris Hatton (Dorwin); her daughter Melody Winter; and her siblings, Lee Bjerke and George Hatton.
She is survived by: her husband Dwaine Eldon Newton; her sons, Rick Newton (Shelly) of Hutchinson and Kyle Newton of Hutchinson; her son-in-law Mike Winter of Mount Hope; her siblings, Bill Hatton (Judy) of Frisco, TX, LuAnn Markano of Wichita and Leaura Plummer of Colorado; and her grandchildren, Alaina Rae Newton of Hutchinson, Elizabeth Rankin, Melissa A. Newton-Graves of Colorado, Kylie Newton of Hutchinson, Kolby Newton of Wichita and Kelly Bruce Rayl (Aaron) of Hutchinson. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Union Valley Bible Church (for mission projects), in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
