He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hornbeck and Jane Hornbeck (Hamill); and his siblings, Carl, Ray, Oscar, Jim, Jack Hornbeck, Roberta King, Helen Frank, Marge Banworth, MaryJane Barkley and Betty Blanchard.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Anne Gore; his children, George (Jenna) of Kansas City and Shelley Conner (Chad) of Marquette; his grandsons, Joshua and Bryce Swisher; his great grandchildren, Logan and Parker Swisher; and his brothers, Robert Hornbeck of Hutchinson and Wayne Hornbeck (Rachel) of Hutchinson.
