It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Fred K Owston III of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred K. Owston, and Dorothy Owston, Jr. (Grapes); his son Curtis Owston; and his in-laws, Al Ehrlich and Theresa Skinner.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri L. Ehrlich; his sons, Joe Owston (Melissa) of Wichita and Andanmo "Damon" Owston of Hutchinson; and his siblings, Jim Owston (Beverly) of California and Joye Friesen (Butch) of Hutchinson. He is also survived by grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to Elliott Mortuary (to benefit two organizations important to Trey, the Central Kansas Gun Club or Concerns of Police Survivors), in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
