Ethel June Knackstedt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel June Knackstedt of Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry A. Price and Lydia I. Price (Bennett); her husband Boyd; her nephew Bob Oliva; her grandson Matthew Oliva; and her son-in-law Mark Volle.
She is survived by: her children, Boyd W. "Buddy" Knackstedt of Russell, Nancy J. Woodyard (Wayne) of Hutchinson, Dennis R. Knackstedt (Beth) of Golden and Barbara A. Volle of Axtell, Kansas; her nephew James H. Oliva of Topeka, Kansas; her grandchildren, Gregory, Elsabeth, Anna, Darcey, Bridgett, Brett and Bradford; and her great grandchildren, Jovie, Jhett and Jagson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Otterbein United Methodist Church (120 W Wisconsin St, Russell, KS 67665).
Memorials may be given to Russell Food Pantry and sent in care of the mortuary.
