He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel G. Curiel Sr. and Catherine Lopez Curiel; and his siblings, Little Richard, Manuel Jr., Johnny and Angel.
He is survived by: his cousin Max Pina; his daughter Chanda Curiel-Miller (Dan); his siblings, Severo, Pete (Ruby), Rudy (Shirley), Micaela Garcia, Carmen Vieyra, Mary Colby, Linda Pina and Juanita Brown (Ralph); and his friend Dale Borth. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Eddie Curiel Music Scholarship Fund (through the Vieyra Foundation for the Arts), in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
