She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Caples and Pearl Evah Childs (Buckles); her great grandchild Banks Corwin; and her siblings, Lyle Childs, Robert Childs and Velma Childs.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Rusk (John) of Hutchinson, KS, Bob Callahan (Diana) of Hutchinson, KS and Frank Callahan of Hutchinson, KS; and her grandchildren, Christy Gable (Keith) of Hutchinson, KS, Steven Rusk (Jenni) of Olathe, KS, Cassie Arias (Luis) of Wichita, KS and Ciara Corwin (Mitch) of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Temple Baptist Church, First Congregational Church, or Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County, in care of Elliott Mortuary and Crematory, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
