He was predeceased by: his parents, Caleb B. Dean and Minnie J. Dean (Huseman); his brother Carl Proctor; his wife Betty Ellen Morton (King); and his former wife Kathaleen Waddle.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Dean (Genny) of Cartwright, OK, Terry Dean (Rayne) of Hutchinson and Rhonda Harvey of Cottonwood, AZ; and his stepdaughters, Kathie Pauls of Hutchinson and Debbie Wolfe (Bill) of Sterling. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and several extended family.
