It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Pierson of Hutchinson, Kansas, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on March 19, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde A. Pierson and Maurine H. Pierson (Buggeln); his siblings, Bill Pierson and Peggy Webb; his brother-in-law Al Stucky; and his parents-in-law, Carl and Frieda Obermite.
He is survived by: his wife Edith'Edie'Pierson of Hutchinson, KS; his sister Trudy Andersen (Eric) of Jameston, KS; his sister-in-law Bonnie Pierson of Hutchinson, KS; his sister Penny Wilt (Brad) of Manhattan, KS; his brothers-in-law, Brian Webb of Caselton, KS, Heinz Obermite of Hollywood, CA, Bob Obermite (Shannon) of Hutchinson, KS and Rick Obermite (Mary) of Clarksville, TN; and his close friend Cy Carlile (Janet) of Hutchinson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
