He was predeceased by: his father Harold Loyd; and his siblings, Corvin Loyd and Guida Loyd. He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Stout Loyd; his wife Ann Etzler Loyd; his sons, Joshua (Angie), Dustin (Lisa), Jacob and Andrew (Mersadeez); and his siblings, Audrey Hoffman (Dan) and Herb (Melanie).
