As DeMaris departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved DeMaris. Though DeMaris may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Shimp and Ruth Shimp (Glass-Maiden); and her husband Steve Bucko Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Quigley of Hutchinson and Steve Bucko Jr. of Hutchinson. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main St. Hutchinson, KS 67501.
