He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. and Mary J. McMichael (Hoke); and his siblings, Lorraine Messner and Earl McMichael. He is survived by: his wife Gay Dowd; his children, Charles R. McMichael, Aaron McMichael (Kathy) and Mary Huddleston (Ken); and his grandchildren, Cheryl Stevens (Paul), Mike (Jamie Wyatt), Chris McMichael and Melissa Calvin (Matt). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Newton and left with Petersen Funeral Home.
