He was predeceased by: his parents, John Friesen and Katie Friesen (Rahn); and his siblings, Gerhard, Orlando (Delores), Jacob (Ardith), John, Erwin Friesen (Janet), Tina Friesen, Helen Regehr (Harry) and Olga Schmidt (Glenn).
He is survived by: his children, Larry Friesen of Oklahoma City and Judy Wood of Ewa Beach, HI; his granddaughters, Kristen Tomlinson, Anna Wood and Rebekah Wood; his brothers, Art (Maralyn), Harold (Elzora), Ernest (Debbie), Marvin (Janice) and Elvin Friesen (Sherry); and his sisters-in-law, Roselyn and Elna Friesen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Rescue Mission of Wichita, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
