She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett W. Hughes and Sarah Hughes (Gibson); and her siblings, Michael Hughes (Lisa) and Jill Crank. She is survived by: her son Dar Holden (Kay); her brother Jack E. Hughes of Hutchinson; and her brother-in-law Ted Crank of Tennessee. She is also survived by two nephews and two nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Elliott Mortuary (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Elliott Chapel (1219 N Main St, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Cancer Council of Reno County or Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community, Buhler, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
