In loving memory of Artimus C. Brayton (Hutchinson, Kansas), who departed this world on December 12, 2024 at the age of 84. Artimus leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Davis and Margaret Davis (Porter); her husband Lester D. Brayton; her sons, Rodger Crabbs and David Crabbs; and her great grandchild Brittney Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Knighten, Joann McCoy and Johnny Banman; and her siblings, Bud Davis and Alice Quian. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hutchinson Funeral Chapel (300 E 30th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67502). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5905 W 4th Ave, Hutchinson, KS 67501).
Memorial contributions are suggested to Teresa Knighten to help the family with funeral expenses and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
