He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl L. Richards and Blenda M. Richards (Ingemanson); his daughter Janice Sargent; and his sister Melva Richards. He is survived by: his wife Cora Margaret Marge McClelland (Crotts); his sons, Richard Crotts and Ken McClelland (Soni) of Hutchinson; and his friends, Susan and Randy Puls of Hutchinson. He is also survived by four grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
In lie of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Arland W. Richards Memorial Fund (to benefit his son, Richard's missionary work), in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
