She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrol Earl Kennedy and Olive Blanche Lee Kennedy; her husband Darrol Irby; her mother-in-law Inez Irby; her siblings, Ken Kennedy, Doris Woods, Roma Lee Irby and Ilene Wallace; and her grandson Andrew Green.
She is survived by: her children, Sara Seller (Bill) of Oberlin, Janet Reynolds (Darel) of Agra, Christina Green (late Craig) of Livingston, Siegle Irby-Duncan (Clint) of Bogue and Murlin Irby (Joy) of Bogue; her sister Ruth Norsworthy of Raleigh; and her sister-in-law Lois Kennedy of Manhattan. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren.
