He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Evans and Novella Ruth Evans (Miller); and his son James Shaw Evans. He is survived by: his son Joey Evans (Pam) of Humboldt, Kansas; his grandchildren, Jazmine Evans, Nathan Whitcomb (Katy), Corey Whitcomb, Annalise Whitcomb, Hunter Coykendall and Faith Coykendall; and his niece Kathy Margrave. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
