He was predeceased by: his parents, John West and Ester West (Hammond); his siblings, Loy West and Lela Southerland; and his son John West.
He is survived by: his wife Annette West (Barlow); and his children, Kristal West of Pittsburg, KS, Dena Thompson (Russell) of Chanute, KS, Dawn Uzzell (Rick) of Osawatomie, KS and Melissa Jeserick (Mitch) of Henderson, Nevada..
