He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Delbert and Glanetta Bernice Bain (Wilhite); his sister Kay Frances Davis (Bain); his half-brother Jack Byers; and also Darci Lynne Harding.
He is survived by: his sister Ann Bain-Bevins; his granddaughters, Kasey and Randi; and his great grandchildren, Natalie, Avery, Margaret and James. He is also survived by his family, friends, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Humboldt Animal Shelter in David's honor.
