He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Lee Higgins and Barbara Jean Furr (Olinger); his stepfather Bill Furr; his brothers, Phillip and Darrell Higgins; his stepbrother Tommy Furr; and his grandparents, Sylvester and Geneva Olinger.
He is survived by: his sister Teresa Snyder (Ken) of Andover; his stepsiblings, Frank Furr (Kathleen) of Hugoton and Juanita Clark (Albert) of Rolla; and his nieces, Jennifer Cornelsen of Andover, Stephanie Littlefield (Kasey) of Andover and Stacy Bond (Karsten) of Wichita. He is also survived by 10 great-nieces and great-nephews.
