He is survived by: his wife Lisa Jean (Gerrond) of Hugoton, KS; his sons, Israel Nelson (Brock) of Wichita, KS, Koltin Nelson (Arika) of Tulsa, OK and Maverick Nelson (Jessica Shankle) of Tulsa, OK; his granddaughter Palmer Jean Nelson; and his siblings, Rick Nelson of Oklahoma City, OK, Doug Nelson of Nashville, TN, David Nelson (Debra), Darin Nelson of Oklahoma City, OK and Gaylene Stiles (David) of Bethany, OK..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church of Hugoton (600 S Van Buren St, Hugoton, KS 67951). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hugoton Cemetery Cemetery (1424 S Cemetery Rd, Hugoton, KS 67951).
