He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Edith "Kern" Meador and Thomas James Meador; his siblings, Leigh Meador, John Meador, Marian Caldwell, Ethel Withers, Alta Peacock, Irma Taton, Ida Mae Long and Hattie Lashmet; and his grandson Bobby Proctor.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Meador of Satanta, KS.; and his children, Roy Steven Meador (Susan) of Augusta, KS., Paul David Meador (Lisa) of Watonga, OK., Sandy Bradford (Jerry) of Liberal, KS. and Debra Diane Meador (Mike Hooper) of Sublette, KS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established for the United Methodist Church or Gideons.
