He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Talbert (Shorty) and Mary Ellen Talbert (Stubbs); his daughter Dawn Stephens; his grandchildren, Colin Ray and Kiley Jo Becker; his son-in-law Eric Becker; and his nephews, Shawn McLemore and Dalton Beeman.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Talbert (Blatter); his daughters, Karen Lauppe of Satanta, KS, Kerry Becker of Ulysses, KS, Stacy Pierce of Hugoton, KS and Kimberly Silva (Jerry) of Houston, TX; his siblings, Max Papay (Cecilla) of Meade, KS, Ray Talbert (Lita) of Hugoton, Doneva Beeman of Hugoton and Alan Talbert (Anita) of Hugoton; and his great grandchildren, Steve Peterson, Ronnie Clayton, David Arnold and Colby Culwell. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
