He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Norton and Julia Norton (Gentry); his daughter Melinda Boswell; and his siblings, James Norton, Linzy Norton, William Norton Jr., Leonard Norton, Ernest Norton, Milmo Mitchell, Venita West, Louie Smith and Doylene Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Norton of Hugoton, KS.; and his daughters, Debbie Stoddard (Roy) of Hugoton, KS., Vonda Gill (Steve) and Jan Morris (Tony Knopp). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and other relatives.
A memorial has been established for United Methodist Church, Moscow, Kansas.
